Aquadeus collaborates with 112 in the ‘Enjoy a safe swim’ action
The natural mineral water company Aquadeus, part of Grupo Fuertes, is collaborating for the second year running in the ‘Enjoy a safe swim’ action, organized by the General Direction of Citizen Safety and Emergencies of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, by handing out 70,000 small bottles of water which incorporate guidelines and advice for bathers.
The initiative, which will be run until the end of August in the coastal municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Los Alcázares, Cartagena, La Unión, Lorca, Mazarrón and Águilas, aims to make citizens aware so that they take the necessary precautions on the beaches and respect the lifeguards’ indications and signs.
The action has been presented today at Puerto de Mazarrón’s beach by the Managing Director of Aquadeus, Julián Garre, together with the Regional Minister of Presidency, María Dolores Pagán, and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez.
The set of advice to enjoy a safe swim is printed on the reverse of the bottle label and includes basic guidelines to follow on the beaches. In particular, it reminds bathers that they must respect indications from the lifeguards, drink water continuously, be extra vigilant with children, avoid intense physical activity, adapt gradually to the temperature of the water, or duly protect themselves from the sun. It also advises bathers to avoid large meals and to know about the bathing area to be able to take into account the currents, depth, temperature or waves, and ask for help immediately if they perceive danger.
Aquadeus is committed to improving society which is why it undertakes a wide range of social projects and collaborates with different charitable associations and NGOs, such as the Spanish Transplant Association or the Association of Rare Illnesses and Other Developmental Disorders or D´Genes, as well as supporting different teams and sporting events.
The natural mineral water Aquadeus, thanks to its excellent mineral composition, is ideal for staying properly hydrated, for the preparation of children’s food and for its consumption by sports men and women.
