This series includes twelve episodes where their wines are paired with special dishes prepared by chefs from top restaurants around the world
Bodegas Luzón just released the first episode from its ‘Maridaje’ series, twelve videos where its wines are paired with dishes prepared by chefs from top restaurants around the world. A culinary journey around the world focused on 12 wines from Bodegas Luzón, 12 restaurants, 12 dishes and 12 stories, where the main characters are food and wine.
‘Maridaje’ is an international documentary series with episodes released every month on the winery’s YouTube channel, each with a unique and exceptional culinary focus. Each episode offers an exclusive perspective on food from a renowned restaurant, accompanied by the perfect wine from Bodegas Luzón. The twelve dishes presented in the videos are also included in the winery’s blog and once the series is finished a book will be released, offering a unique pairing guide for lovers of food and gastronomy.
The first episode of this exciting exploration of the synergy between gastronomy and wine was filmed at La Maita de Molina de Segura, a restaurant in Murcia, where the chef and owner Tomás Écija showed us his culinary creation: a Japanese fusion dish with local ingredients from the land in Murcia. The recipe in this first video is a fish stew with sea bream and prawns, paired with Altos de Luzón, one of the winery’s most iconic wines.
The series demonstrates the importance of pairing properly and how to enjoy a culinary experience with an explosion for the senses. With this project, Bodegas Luzón shows its commitment to excellence through every aspect of the gourmet experience.
