Bodegas Luzón releases corporate video ‘The flavour of our history’
The winery has spent a year documenting the different stages in the creation of its wines, intertwining them with its own chronology, one of the oldest in the Jumilla PDO
Bodegas Luzón releases a corporate video after documenting for a whole year the different processes of pruning, flowering, harvesting, fermentation and ageing, resulting in a five-minute video with key information about the history of the winery, one of the oldest in the Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin.
The video called ‘El sabor de nuestra historia’ (The flavour of our history) pays tribute, like all of the winery’s wines, to the land, agriculture and the Monastrell grape. It starts by presenting the unique Jumilla region through the idiosyncrasies of Bodegas Luzón, from the origin of its name to the seed of its creation.
Produced in Spanish and English, the video summarises a 365-day journey from the vineyard to the glass. It is available on the Bodegas Luzón YouTube channel Bodegas Luzón for viewing by all those interested in learning more about the world of wine, within which this company is positioning itself with its ability to combine innovation and tradition in its aim to offer valuable experiences.
Bodegas Luzón is a project by José Molina, who for several years was a commander of the royal armies on the Philippine island of Luzón, the origin of the winery’s name, and who, on his return to Jumilla, began the project of producing wine. The winery was bequeathed to his daughter, being linked to the female branch of the lineage from the beginning. In 2005, the Fuertes family took over and gave it a modern boost thanks to significant investments.
