Bodegas Luzón revamps its emblematic Altos de Luzón both inside and out
The company goes back to its roots transforming this iconic wine into a product of Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin.
Bodegas Luzón has revamped its emblematic Altos de Luzón both inside and out. A wine which has become a benchmark for both national and international quality and the hallmark of those wines belonging to the Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin over the years.
Altos de Luzón, made exclusively from Monastrell grapes, is the winery’s most representative wine. With its transformation, Luzón returns to its roots and the essence of the Jumillan lands, and pays an authentic tribute to its identity. Its new label is an accurate reflection of the land which gives rise to this wine, with its rugged, unique yet beautiful landscape, where the Monastrell grape variety thrives.
The Jumilla region is characterised by its arid climate, with an average altitude of 650 metres. The land is coarse and dry which is what makes the area so authentic and epitomises the renewed Altos de Luzón.
This wine is the result of a careful process that begins in the selection of the best bunches of Monastrell grapes and continues with twelve months of ageing in American and French oak barrels, converting it into a gift both for fans and the most refined palates.
Altos de Luzón has a distinct flavour, which delivers the freshness of the Mediterranean climate, “something unique, fine and beautiful” to discover; message included on the bottle’s label.
Bodegas Luzón is one of the leading producers of wine in the Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin. Their products have a distinctive personality and a high level of prestige among experts and consumers.
