Cefusa strengthens its commitment to sustainability and publishes its first CSR report
Cefusa, the livestock company of Grupo Fuertes, has published its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report to communicate with its stakeholders about its management and performance in the triple dimension of economics, society and environment.
The livestock company improves its communication with the people who make it up, and with its stakeholders, and informs of its activity and actions taken for animal welfare, food safety, employment, the circular economy, and the promotion of rural areas where most of its production centres are located.
The report, which can be read on the website www.cefusa.com, summarises the initiatives it is developing, with an ever more responsible and sustainable management model which promotes the whole person, the future of the sector and of rural development, the quality and safety of its products, respect for the environment, and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
The company has also recently launched a new website, which distinguishes itself by its modern design and accessibility. This new platform has been designed with an easy browsing structure which takes the user to the contents of greatest interest to them more quickly. The design prioritises simplicity of access to information, with simple texts and the use of corporate images and illustrations.
Cefusa is the livestock company of Grupo Fuertes, dedicated to the breeding and production of pork and animal feed for over 50 years. The company has been working to improve the sector from the start, making large investments to incorporate great technological advances into its facilities, which enable it to optimise its productive systems, improve animal care, and promote the circular economy and the sustainability of animal farming and the rural environment. Moreover, Cefusa was the first business in Spain to achieve, in collaboration with the animal farmers involved, the Animal Welfare Certificate from Interporc, the most demanding in the European Union.
