ElPozo Alimentación receives the Medal of the Royal Order of Sporting Merit
ElPozo Alimentación receives the bronze medal for its contribution to sport.
The Deputy Managing Director of ElPozo Alimentación, Rafael Fuertes, received the Medal of the Royal Order of Sporting Merit in the bronze category, for its contribution to Paralympic sport through the ADO Plan (Paralympic Sport Support Plan), during an event held last Thursday in the Sports Council in Madrid.
Rafael Fuertes received the distinction from the president of the Spanish Paralympic Committee, Miguel Carballeda, and the secretary of the Royal Order of Sporting Merit, Enrique Ramón.
The medals and the plaques of Sporting Merit, in their different categories, Gold, Silver and Bronze, single out those people or entities which deserve recognition for their outstanding sporting success or for their contribution to the development of Spanish sport. Accordingly, ElPozo Alimentación received the award for its commitment to sport promotion as sponsor of the Spanish Paralympic Team.
ElPozo Alimentación is a collaborator and sponsor of the Paralympic Sport Support Plan (ADOP), whose objective is to finance Spanish paralympic sport through a complete grants system which keeps Spain and its paralympic sportsmen and women among the elite when it comes to disabled people’s sport.
