The company has received the sportsmen who represented Spain in the XII Winter Games in Pyeongchang

 ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has renewed its commitment to paralympic sport until the next games in Tokyo to take place in 2020 as official sponsor of the Spanish Paralympic Team, through the Paralympic Sport Support Plan (ADOP).

The company, which first became a sponsor  in 2016 to economically support the sportsmen and women in their preparation for the Paralympic Games, has decided to maintain this link as it is completely in line with the company’s values, consisting of overcoming difficulties, group effort, companionship, team work, capacity of sacrifice, responsibility, commitment, respect and personal growth.

Thanks to the contributions from ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN and the rest of the ADOP sponsors, these sportsmen and women have access to grants and financial help for training, to attend a greater number of international concentrations and competitions or have access to technicians, trainers, support staff, specific sporting equipment or medical services, etc. All of this with the aim of getting the best possible results in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and keeping Spain among the elite of sport practised by the disabled.

To celebrate the event, a delegation from the Spanish Paralympic Committee accompanied by three of the four sportsmen and women who represented Spain in the XII Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018, visited ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN’s facilities to thank the food company for its support.

Specifically, the act had the presence of the Managing Director of the Spanish Paralympic Committee, Alberto Jofre and the sportsmen, Jon Santacana and Miguel Galindo, who got the silver medal in the Super Combined competition in the last games as well as two fourth places in thedownhill and Super-G, as well as Víctor González, the snowboarder, who following an accident was told he would be left tetraplegic and then three years later took part in a competition at the highest level.
