The company continues to firmly collaborate with the educational institution in the R&D&I field

Grupo Fuertes has supported the creation of two new research chairs in collaboration with the University of Murcia. One of them is linked to the Faculty of Economics and Business about Business Experience, and the other about Food Safety and Sustainability for the Faculty of Veterinary science.

The creation of these two new chairs will mean advances in innovation and internationalisation applying the resulting knowledge to business activity. This initiative consolidates the close relationship which the company has with the educational institution in the R&D&I field.

Grupo Fuertes and the University of Murcia presented the content of these two new chairs this morning in a ceremony which had the presence of the president of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes; the chancellor of the University of Murcia, José Luján; the regional minister of Employment, Universities, Business and the Environment, Javier Celdrán; and the vice-chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society; Alicia Rubio.

The chair on Food Safety and Sustainability has as an objective innovation, training and dissemination in the field of veterinary and food science. The activities will include the awarding of grants for students from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, work experience at the University and the promotion of research contacts.

The chair of Business Excellence will make the incorporation into the world of work easier for the best students from the Faculty of Economics and Business. It will also promote work experience in companies forming part of Grupo Fuertes and the participation in international development programmes in the search for business excellence.
