The President of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes together with Alfonso García, president of Urcisol and the Unión Deportiva Almería, and also from Murcia, collected the Expofinancial awards given by the Professional Association of Investment Advisers, Financing and Legal experts (AIF) for their effort and work in consolidating successful business projects.

Other award-winners during the gala, which was attended by five hundred people, included: Florentino Pérez, president of Grupo ACS and Real Madrid; Alejandro Blanco, president of the Spanish Olympic Committee; Juan José Hidalgo, president of Grupo Globalia; and Manuel Jové, president of Grupo Inverante.

The guests were able to get to know the award-winning business groups in depth thanks to videos which showed the characteristics of each company and its business philosophy. The award-winners thanked the honorary president of AIF, Ricardo Martínez, for this honour and expressed their absolute belief that effort, work and investment can consolidate important projects which contribute to generating wealth in Spain.

Grupo Fuertes is a holding company which includes twenty companies strategically organised into two large business areas, the agro-food sector and the diversification area. It creates direct employment for more than 6,500 people and creates a further 33,500 jobs indirectly.
