Luzón Colección Crianza, by Bodegas Luzón, has been chosen as one of the hundred best wines for quality to price 2019, according to the North American magazine Wine Spectator. The wine by Bodegas Luzón is among the 14 selected Spanish wines and it is the only wine from the Region of Murcia included in the list.
Wine Spectator is one of the most important and influential publications in the wine sector. With a trajectory of over thirty years, it tastes and evaluates around 15,000 wines every year.
Luzón Colección Crianza appears in the list of the best top value wines, in the reds category, with a score of 90. This wine is elaborated from two native Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin varieties, 80% Monastrell and 20% Garnacha Tintorera. This blend provides a deep ruby red wine with aromas of spices, liquorice, dark fruits, such as redcurrants and blackberries, combined with delicate notes of tobacco. In the mouth, it is an elegant, mature wine with velvety tannins and a long finish.
