ElPozo Alimentación is awarded the Business Excellence Award for its Integrated Process Control by the Regional Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment in the Region of Murcia
The Regional Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment in the Region of Murcia has awarded ElPozo Alimentación one of the Business Excellence Awards in the large business category, for its Integrated Process Control (CIP). The MUI awards, organized by the Directorate General of Energy and Industrial Activity and Mining are in their fourth year.
These awards recognise the merit of those companies which contribute to stimulate Excellence in the Region of Murcia and have made a significant effort to improve competitiveness through the factors that define it.
The food company has won this award for its main differentiating factor, its unique circular integration model, called the Integrated Process Control (CIP), which enables the intervention in all phases of the production process to guarantee maximum food quality, safety and environmental respect. It is a system which controls all business activity, from agriculture, livestock, selection of raw materials, product preparation and customer service, until it reaches the consumer.
ElPozo Alimentación is a leading company in the food sector in Spain. Founded more than 60 years ago, the company exports its products from the Region of Murcia to more than 80 countries and is a pioneer in healthy food, thanks to its policy of innovation and continuous improvement. It has a workforce of more than 4,000 people and in the last year a turnover of 965.3 million euros. Its most emblematic brand, ElPozo, is the favourite for Spanish people and is consumed in four out of five households in our country.
