Sediasa Alimentación, a company specialising in the parcelling and packaging of food for distribution, part of Grupo Fuertes, has obtained the ISO 14001 certification.

This voluntary accreditation, audited and issued by certification company SGS, endorses the company’s commitment to protecting its surroundings and fulfilling the international UNE-EN ISO 14001-2015 standard.

With this certification, Sediasa, which promotes the development of good environmental practices in its facilities and internal processes, guarantees that the different environmental issues generated by its activity are systematised and the associated risks identified and managed.

Environmental sustainability is an essential aspect of the company’s business strategy. Sediasa has invested 800,000 euros in environmental policies, with a wide range of actions including installing an over 20,000-square-metre solar park, collecting and storing rainwater for later use in gardens, floor washing and toilets, and installing LED lights in its facilities.
