The Chairman of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes, has positioned himself as one of the most highly valued businessmen in the country, ranking among the top 100 CEOs in Spain according to Forbes magazine, for his contribution to the economic improvement of the country.
Fuertes is among the seven most influential executives in the food industry, having managed to put the holding company Grupo Fuertes in a leading position at European level.
Tomás Fuertes is the Chairman of Grupo Fuertes, one of the most important business groups in Spain, with 100% Spanish capital, which brings together more than 20 different companies whose activity is mainly focused on the agri-food sector. Among them is ElPozo Alimentación, a leader in its market. The group employs around 9,000 direct employees and generates around 50,000 indirect employees, with a turnover of more than €2.5 billion. Last year it invested €95 million to strengthen innovation and sustainability, which are its compass towards competitiveness.
