Tomás Fuertes, among the 20 most influential business leaders in the Spanish business world
The Merca2.es ranking positions him in 18th place
The Chairman of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes, is among the 20 most influential business leaders in Spain, according to the ranking carried out by Merca2.es, a digital news media outlet focused on the economic, business and technological world, which ranks him in 18th place.
Tomás Fuertes appears alongside other important executives in Spain in a study that highlights the 500 most influential people in our country, following the media outlet’s consultation of more than 25,000 people since 2018.
The report highlights the notoriety that Spanish companies are achieving worldwide thanks to the work of their top executives. The study was carried out between November and December 2024 and, together with Tomás Fuertes, other entrepreneurs such as the founder of Inditex, Amancio Ortega, the Chairwoman of Banco Santander, Ana Botín, and the Chairman of Mercadona, Juan Roig, appear in the study.
Tomás Fuertes is Chairman of Grupo Fuertes, one of the most important business groups in Spain, with 100% Spanish capital, which groups together more than 20 different companies whose activity is mainly focused on the agri-food sector. Among them is ElPozo Alimentación, a leader in its market. The business group has more than 8,300 direct employees, and generates some 50,000 indirect employees, and its turnover exceeded €2,400 million in 2023.
