The president of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes, has just been awarded the Personal Excellence prize in the ‘Business Environment’ category. These awards organised by the Madrid Excellent Foundation highlight the human and professional history of outstanding personalities who through their dedication and work have managed to stand out in their fields.

The president of the holding company Grupo Fuertes shares the prize, in different categories, with people of considerable stature such as Antonio Tajani, César Alierta, Rebeca Grynspan, José Remohí, David Calle or Father Ángel.

The awards, which are in their second year, will be handed over on 28^th September by the President of the Community of Madrid, Ángel Garrido, during the IX International Congress of Excellence, where the challenges and opportunities of digital education will be analysed.

Tomás Fuertes is a born businessman, who for more than 60 years has been working in the holding company which he presides over, Grupo Fuertes, consolidated as an international benchmark for consumer brands thanks to its powerful core of agro-food companies and a collection of diversified investments which guarantee its soundness and future.
