According to the study “iTRUST Business Leaders Ranking”, by think tank ‘Mesías – Intelligence of the Spanish Brand’

The president of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes, has been ranked as one of the 20 directors who generate most trust in the Spanish business panorama, according to the study iTRUST Business Leaders Ranking, carried out by the think tank ‘Mesías – Intelligence of the Spanish Brand’ between 15 January and 15 February 2020.

In this research, carried out on a sample of more than a thousand directors, business experts and university researchers, Tomás Fuertes appears shoulder to shoulder with such outstanding businesspeople as Amancio Ortega, founder of Inditex, Juan Roig, the president of Mercadona, Ana Botín, the president of Santander Bank, and the honorary president of law firm Garrigues, Antonio Garrigues, as directors who inspire greatest trust in society.

This is the first in a series of studies and rankings which the think tank will develop over coming months, and which will analyse the trust generated by Spanish businesses and their brands, as well as the image they give and their reputation level, both nationally and internationally.

Tomás Fuertes has been president of Grupo Fuertes and of El Pozo Alimentación for more than sixty years. He leads one of the main business groups in Spain with 7,000 direct employees, a turnover of nearly 2,000 million euros and a business philosophy based on constant improvement, reinvestment and sustainable development.
