The wine by Bodegas Luzón, ‘Luzón Colección Monastrell’, has been awarded 90 points by Wine Enthusiast magazine, and has been included in the Best Buy category for value for money.

This recognition is a great milestone for the Monastrell red from the Colección range, after receiving the Mention of Honour in the wine-without-wood category of the 15th Jumilla Wine Quality Competition last year, positioning it as the best Monastrell from Jumilla in young wines out of all the wineries taking part in the competition.

It also joins the silver medal and the 90 points awarded to Luzón Colección Rosado by The Drink Business magazine, and the inclusion of Luzón Colección Crianza on the Wine Spectator’s list of the 100 best value for money wines, which continues to certify the quality of all the wines in the Colección Range.

Luzón Colección Monastrell is a 100% Monastrell wine of a deep purple colour and powerful aroma loaded with red fruit like cherries, strawberries and plums, with a spiced finish very typical of the variety. Juicy and fresh in the mouth, it has a long, enveloping and vibrant body.
